Blueberries Make An Antioxidant Juice That is Powerful and Delicious

An antioxidant juice is a great way to enjoy many fruits and vegetables. Blueberries are no exception.

Whenever you are choosing juice, make sure to read the label. Not all juices are the same. Some "juices" are really just punch with a little juice added.

Look for juice that is 100% pure with no sugar or corn syrup added. Researchers have stated that too much juice can contribute to obesity for anyone, especially children. If that juice is full of sugar or corn syrup, it will also have added and unnecessary calories. Researchers suggest that you drink six to ten ounces of pure juice each day.

If you are able, it is even better to make blueberry juice from wild blueberries. The blueberry juice at your local store will have many nutrients and antioxidants, but will probably come from cultivated blueberries and not from wild blueberries.

Another option is to add frozen wild blueberries and other fruit into your morning smoothie.

The juice that I found which I really enjoy comes from wild Alaskan blueberries. These berries are in a harsh environment and have more antioxidant power as a result.

This is because in Alaska there are times when days are 24 hours long. To cope with this, the berries have a thicker skin. The skin contains most of the antioxidant power in the berries. More skin means more nutrition.

Juices are so beneficial to all, regardless of age, even Fabulous Women 40 Yrs Plus.
