Blueberry Jello
I found this Blueberry Jello recipe which is really yummy, but not so great for the diet. For some reason, I relate Jello and springtime, so I decided to add a Jello recipe for spring. Jello Blueberry Salad For the salad, you will need: - 1 large package of grape flavor Jello
- 1 and 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1 - 20 oz. can blueberry pie filling
- 1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
For the topping, you will need: - 8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
To make the salad: Put the blueberry pie filling and pineapple in the refrigerator a while before making the salad, the night before is great. This will help the salad set up more quickly. Dissolve the Jello in boiling water, in a 9 x 13 glass dish or cake pan and let cool. Add the chilled pie filling and pineapple to the Jello. Let the salad chill until it is set. To make the topping: Beat the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread the topping on the Jello salad and top with chopped nuts if you like. Enjoy!
