This is a recipe for a delicious fruit salad which is a very healthy treat. This recipe makes 12 four ounce servings which have only 96 calories each. It is also packed with antioxidants and many other nutrients.
To make the salad you will need:
2 cups fresh blueberries
1 large mango, peeled and diced
2 bananas, sliced
2 cups halved fresh strawberries
2 cups seedless grapes
2 nectarines, unpeeled and sliced
1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
To make the honey-orange sauce you will need:
1/3 cup unsweetened orange juice
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 and 1/2 tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1 dash nutmeg
This salad is really easy to make:
Prepare and combine the fruit
Combine all the ingredients for the sauce and mix
Just before serving, pour the sauce over the fruit
